This is the Home Page for the PlushieRing. Inspired by the FurRing, the PlushieRing is designed to link plush-related web pages. If you're not sure what a plushie is, read the FAQ.

(Unfortunately, WebRing keeps changing hands, so some of this stuff might not be correct anymore.  I'll get around to fixing it eventually.)

Joining the Ring:

1. Does your site qualify? Here are the requirements for membership:
   1. The page must contain significant plush content. (i.e., more than just a couple links). If you're not sure, e-mail Captain Packrat, or look through the existing sites for examples..
   2. Commercial sites are not permitted. (This includes pages selling Beanie Babies!)
   3. Any rating G through R is permitted. Sites with X-rated material will be allowed, if there is a warning page AND the site is RSAC/PICS rated.
   4. The RingMaster reserves the right to reject any site at his discretion
2. Copy one images from each of the following sets of images to your web site. (Please do not reference them off my site) You will need one each of the Member Site and Next Site buttons.

   The files in bold and marked with * stars * are the default images.
   

3. Cut and paste the following HTML into your web page, making sure to insert your name in place of the red __________ mark, and your e-mail address in place of the blue ___________ mark. If you have chosen an image other than the default above, be sure to change the file names marked in bold black below.

When complete, it should look something like this:

4. Now you're ready to join the ring! Simply fill out this short little form to have your site added to the Queue (NOTE: You must add the above HTML to your web page BEFORE filling out this form!)

5. After filling out the form and submitting it, you will receive an ID number. Please write it down! You'll need it later.
6. In the HTML that you added to your web page, there were three id=______ sections. Replace all the _____ with your id number (leave the id= there, though.)

   For instance, if your ID number were 10, then you would change

   to
   <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=plushie;id=10;next">

7. E-mail Captain Packrat, and ask him to add you to the ring. Be sure to give him your ID number, and the URL of your site! He'll check your page to make sure the HTML is correct, and he'll either add you to the ring, or e-mail you with the corrections you need to make. Be sure to complete step #6 before #7!
